Why not kick off the year with some creative writing? The Innisfil ideaLAB & Library's Short Short Contest is open to all students in Grades 3-12, and asks students to submit a piece of original fiction for their chance to win great prizes. Winning students will have their work published in a short anthology which is made available as part of the Library's circulating collection as well as online. Winners are also recognized at an evening awards ceremony in January with a cash grand prize of $500. The contest provides an opportunity for the community to recognize and celebrate literacy while sparking a joy of reading and writing in students!
