The Knights of Columbus are sponsoring 120 children's gift bags which will be handed out at St. Mary's Church's Lux Vitae event, Friday and Saturday evenings, November 26 and 27. 

 

We're looking for volunteers to help with the gift bags, as well as dress up like elves and hand them out to children at the Lux Vitae evenings, 6-9 pm.  Tasks that could be done at home include writing Christmas cards, assembling craft kits, wrapping books, tying ribbons on candy canes, etc. for the gift bags.  Materials are dropped off on, and picked up from, volunteer's porches by parents or me.  All supplies and equipment for completing the tasks are provided.  Teens can do as many jobs as they like.  We ask them to keep track of their volunteer hours and my husband will email them into the school to ensure they are credited.
