Remote Learning 2022-2023

For the vast majority of our students, face to face instruction is the best mode of learning. However, recognizing the ongoing concerns regarding COVID-19, school boards will continue to offer Remote Learning options for the 2022-2023 school year.

  • Elementary: Students will be organized into grade appropriate classes, which may include mixed grade groupings as numbers dictate. All students will be expected to participate in both live synchronous lessons and asynchronous learning completed independently. Students must commit for the full school year.

  • Secondary: Students may participate in a combination of e-learning courses, Independent Learning Centre (ILC) packaged courses and/or virtual classes depending on registration numbers. Please note that course options may be limited depending on registration numbers. Students must commit for the full school year.

If your child will be participating in face to face learning for the 2022-2023 school year, there is NO ACTION required. All students (including those who participated in remote learning for the 2021-2022 school year) will be automatically registered in their home school.

If Remote Learning is required, then Parents/Guardians are asked to complete this Remote Learning Registration form on the board website no later than 4:00 p.m. Friday, May 13th. In order to allow time for the organization of classes, no registrations will be taken beyond this date.

Please note that there will be no movement between modes of learning during the school year.
