Monsignor Clair Cup (MCC) - Dec. 7

St. Peter’s Secondary School, St. Joseph’s High School and Joan of Arc High School will be co hosting the event known as MONSIGNOR CLAIR CUP.  This event will be held at the Barrie Sadlon Arena on Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2022 and consists of friendly rival hockey games between the Panthers, Knights and the Jaguars.  The purpose of the event is to celebrate Catholic Education as well as to bring our school community together.  The cost of this event is $10.00.    This cost includes transportation to and from the event, covers costs of the facility, buses, security, safety, and officials, as well students will receive a noisemaker.  

Tickets are available on School Day.  Students must have a student card to be able to purchase the ticket.  

Tickets are NON TRANSFERABLE and NON REFUNDABLE..  Students must purchase their own ticket and are unable to purchase tickets from a peer or another school day account.   Accountability with respect to student names is important. 

 

Students will arrive at school at their regular time.  They will attend Period 1 class and be called to a pep rally.  Once buses arrive, students board the buses to the Sadlon Centre.   The event runs all day as there are 4 games played.  Students will return to St. Peter’s before 2:00 p.m. and will attend their Period 4 class for attendance.  They will be able to catch their bus /  ride or walk home.    

Students are transported to the Sadlon Arena via school bus.  STUDENTS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO TRANSPORT THEMSELVES.  

 Students are encouraged to dress appropriately in Purple / White / Silver / Black attire.  Students are not able to paint their bodies.   Feather Boas are also not permitted

As a part of the day, students will learn a dance that the entire school community participates in.  The dance will be taught to students during Period 4 the week of Nov. 28 - Dec. 1.

 

Concessions will be available at the Sadlon Centre, they are CASH ONLY
