We are hosting the Innisfil Static Santa Claus Parade, at the Innisfil Rec Centre on Innisfil Beach Road on Sunday, Nov. 28, 2021. The floats will be parked in the south parking lot, and vehicles will drive through the parade route. Last year we had 11 floats and over 900 vehicles drove through the parade route in 2 hours. This year we will be having 25 floats, and expect to have many more vehicles drive through.
We are looking for students, as well as staff, volunteers to assist us throughout the day's activities
- From 12:00pm to 4:00pm floats will be arriving and setting up at pre-determined times.
- From 4:00pm to 8:00pm, is the scheduled parade. (7:00pm to 8:00pm, is an additional hour of parade if deemed necessary due to a high amount of vehicles still waiting in the line up. The published parade time is from 5:00pm to 7:00pm
- From 7:00(8:00)pm to 10:00pm is the tear down of the floats and clean up of the parking lot.
Coffee, Hot Chocolate & treats, from Tim Hortons will be provided throughout the day for all of the volunteers. We ask that those that volunteer please pay close attention to the weather outlook that day and dress appropriately. If volunteers have Christmas attire, such as elf ears, Santa Helpers outfits, jingle bells, or similar that they feel free to bring them along.

All volunteers that sign up will receive an email from myself from icecorpscp@gmail.com or Jennifer Richardson icecorpvolunteers@gmail.com approximately one week prior to the parade, confirming their attendance, position, as well as a link to a COVID self-assessment that is required to be completed the morning of the event and prior to attending. Please ensure that people are advised to check their spam and junk folders for emails from these two Gmail accounts.
