Thrive School Mental Health Opportunity

Posted on 04/01/2022

ThriveSMH (Thrive School Mental Health) is a group of passionate students from across the Ontario. We work within School Mental Health Ontario (SMH-ON) to amplify the voices of students and supports equitable school mental health. We focus on ways to reduce stigma and promote mental health in Ontario schools.

ThriveSMH members help to develop and inform student mental health resources and programs. We support projects related to mental health in school (for example, resources and programs for teachers, parents/caregivers, or mental health staff). We’re committed to supporting equitable school mental health and do our best to develop, inform, and support culturally appropriate and responsive resources.

ThriveSMH members are change-makers! We support the SMH-ON team, health professionals and community partners on a variety of projects related to improving student mental health. ThriveSMH provides up-to-date information about the challenges Ontario students face and work together to find solutions

Want to learn more? Come to our Open House!

We will be hosting two open house events over Zoom on Tuesday, April 5 and Wednesday, April 6 from 5 to 6 pm ET (4 to 5 pm CT). You do not have to come to both – the same information will be shared at each open house. These will give you a chance to meet some members of the team, ask questions, and learn more about what we do.
