We’re looking for intermediate students (grades 7 and 8) and secondary students to join our SMCDSB Student Mental Health & Well-Being committees! Committees are supported by Brooke Holmes (School Counsellor - Mental Health Promotion) and Chantelle Quesnelle (Mental Health Lead). Each committee will meet virtually once a month.
We are looking for students who are interested in supporting and promoting mental health and well-being at Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board. We are also actively looking for a diverse group of student leaders. We hope that our mental health promotion work can reflect the many experiences, cultures, and identities within our student population.

Social Media- Instagram content creation, input for content ideas, monthly virtual meetings after school

Website Design- Input for website design, input for content on the SMCDSB “My Mental Health and Well-Being” website, monthly virtual meetings after school

Student Advisory- Discuss student voice initiatives and mental health topics, give input on mental health and well-being at SMCDSB, monthly virtual meetings after school
